Checking In: Version 0.3 Progress
Hey everyone! 👋 Just wanted to share a quick update on version 0.3 of the game. After a short vacation and some sick leave, I’m back to working on it full-time again — and the last few days have been really productive! ⚙️
I’ve reworked some existing features, revamped the save system (you can now export and import saves as encoded text 🧪), and added a brand-new level with its own unique mechanic. I’m hopeful that the save system refactor will help some of you who’ve been having issues launching the game. 🙏
Since the save system has been completely refactored, old saves won’t be compatible. ❌ But don’t worry — once version 0.3 releases, I’ll include a few “quick-start” save files that let returning players jump back in from the area of their choosing. 🚀
I’ve attached a few teaser images 🖼️ to give you a glimpse of what’s coming. At the moment, I’m planning for version 0.3 to feature a total of five areas, each with its own mechanics and items.
